Dr. Priyanka P

Dr. Priyanka P is a Junior Consultant in the Department of Transfusion Medicine at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bangalore. She completed her MD in Transfusion Medicine from St. John’s Medical College in 2025 and brings a focused expertise in blood banking, immunohematology, apheresis, and donor management.

She has undergone specialized training in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), transfusion-transmitted infection screening, and immunohematology techniques. She has presented her work at national forums, including TRANSMEDCON and St. John's CME, and was a runner-up in the Transfusion Intellecta Quiz Contest.

She is an active member of AATM, ISTM, and ISBTI. With a keen interest in innovation and quality, her vision includes establishing an automated extended blood grouping system, supporting complex bone marrow and organ transplants, and contributing to CAR-T cell research and non-malignant hematologic care.
